Jim Marous became President of LIFESTREAM Columbus in January 2003, succeeding John Messmore, who was the previous President. Jim completed both Basic and Advanced (IPI) in 2002, sponsored by his wife, Linda, and has been a Group Leader for both the Basic and Advanced (IPI) programs in 2003. Jim's previous community service experience includes serving on the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Columbus, and being the Charter Executive Director of Red, White and Boom!

Jim's vision for the future of LIFESTREAM Columbus as both President and head of the Enrollment Committee is to expand the level of participation and diversity of participants for the program in Columbus. In addition, he hopes to connect with the thousands of past graduates of the LIFESTREAM program in Central Ohio, reenergizing the involvement of the alumni to make a difference in the community. "My goal is to provide a curriculum that allows people to connect their heads with their hearts, and to reach as many diverse audiences as possible both locally and regionally. In addition, I want us to offer an array of involvement opportunities to recent and past graduates, on an educational and community service basis", says Marous. "I am dedicated to providing the platform and foundation for people to grow on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual basis".

Marous is a 24 year marketing veteran, currently working in the strategic and business development areas for the direct marketing agency Alcott Routon, based in Nashville, TN. He lives with his LIFESTREAM graduate wife Linda, 5 year old son Cameron, and trusty canine campanion, Tundra.
